Cat Run (2011): A Wee Bit Outrageous

The movie Cat Run was released into theaters over a year ago and is finally available on DVD. It is categorized as an action comedy and is equally as funny as it is exciting. The plot involves two normal American males that decide to start a private investigation agency in Montenegro. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, becoming a private investigator may not require much experience at all. Most of the humor in this movie seems to operate off of this concept; as these two inexperienced Americans begin to learn how dangerous detective work can actually be. With that being said, I found most of the action scenes in this movie to be somewhat realistic; and also violent enough to make you want to cringe at times. I feel like the leading characters of this movie did excellent jobs with their roles; and the music also seemed to move the story along from scene to scene rather smoothly. Aside from the fact that prostitution is illegal in Montenegro, I do not see why any young single bachelor might not enjoy watching this movie.
